Hi Tony, it's true that kangaroos are aggressive or they are quiet as at this picture?
ReplyDeleteHere's a piece of news about a roo attack in Bendigo, Victoria. See how dangerous they can be: https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/man-attacked-by-roo-saves-his-stubby/ar-BBQBKZE?li=AAgfYrC
DeleteWell, they really can be, but these ones are from a sanctuary in the city of Ballarat, in the state of Victoria. They're originally from Kangaroo Island and this species is very tame. You can actually caress them, they're pretty much used to human surrounding.
ReplyDeleteHi Tony, Does exist a big differece between Austalian English and British English?
ReplyDeleteYes, there are some differences, especially when it comes to "strine", the typical Australian slang. For example, I remember an anecdote with my sister-in-law. I asked her how everything was and she answered: "Oh Gosh, flat out like a lizard's tongue". At first, I couldn't understand but then they explained to me that it means she had been very busy with work. Apparently, the frantic movement of the lizard's tongue paralleled hard work. Anyway, here's a link with more info about strine:

Hi Tony! How was your stay in Australia?
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome! So cool! Yet the weather was not as good as I expected it to be. By the way, what about you? Have you ever been to any English-speaking country?
Deleteunfortunately not yet, but I hope to be able to travel soon!
DeleteHi Tony! Where is the favorite place for you, of Australia?
ReplyDeleteMu favourite place in Australia would be Ayer's Rock, but I didn't have time to go there the last time I visited Australia. I only stayed in places in the state of Victoria in the south.
